ABS Complies with all laws and regulations

  1. Anti-Corruption Compliance: ABS strictly prohibits any form of bribery, corruption, or unethical behaviour in our business activities. We adhere to all anti-corruption laws and regulations in Namibia and other jurisdictions where we operate. Employees are prohibited from offering, soliciting, or accepting bribes or kickbacks in any form.
  2. Business Ethics: We uphold the highest standards of business ethics in all our dealings. This includes honesty, transparency, fairness, and respect for all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, employees, and the community. We are committed to promoting a culture of integrity and ethical behaviour throughout the organization.
  3. Conflicts of Interest: ABS employees are expected to avoid conflicts of interest that could compromise their judgment or the interests of the company. Employees must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and seek guidance from management on how to handle such situations appropriately.
  4. Protection of Company Assets: We are committed to protecting ABS’s assets, including physical assets, intellectual property, and confidential information. Employees are required to safeguard company assets and use them only for legitimate business purposes.
  5. Compliance Training and Awareness: ABS provides regular training and awareness programs to educate employees about their compliance obligations and the importance of ethical conduct. Training covers topics such as anti-corruption laws, business ethics, data protection, and confidentiality.
  6. Reporting Mechanisms: ABS encourages employees to report any suspected violations of the compliance policy through established reporting channels, such as the whistle-blower hotline or direct communication with management. Reports are handled confidentially, and whistle-blowers are protected from retaliation.
  7. Enforcement and Disciplinary Action: Violations of the compliance policy will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. ABS takes compliance seriously and holds employees accountable for their actions.
